I am a data scientist based in Cape Town with a focus on automated investment strategies. I’ve always run multiple careers at the same time, but the broad arc of my professional life has been as follows:

2003-2007: Film directing & scriptwriting
2007-2014: Real estate management
2014-2018: Professional equity analysis
2019-2022: Data science and engineering
